Grow a little love

Sketch N Stash Challenge 106

It's time for another challenge over at Sketch N Stash. All you need do is follow the sketch below and incorporate the theme of Die Cuts. Nice and simple because we all love a die cut! Now this time our fabulous sponsors are Crafty Individuals

Crafty individuals

I have used Wryn Grow a Little love for my card and she has been coloured using Copic markers. The gorgeous spotty paper is First Edition Blank canvas. I really when to town with the punching and die cuts. The flower spray has been cut using a Memory Box Die. The base has been cut using a Martha Stewart punch around the page set Floral Crochet  To get the coordinating flowers I used the same Martha Stewart punch on some scraps of paper and then just cut out the individual flowers and blinged them up with some pearls. The sentiment was a free digi down load from Tiddly Inks.

I do hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

A Fairy Tail

Good morning it's freezing cold outside, our park still looks like something from the Swiss Alps and the local toy shop is doing a roaring trade in sledges!. Infact even our dog Bailey has taken a turn down the hill in the sledge and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. So if you dont feel like venturing out into the cold Diva's by Design have a new challenge starting today and our fantastic theme is Fairy Tales. Our  kind sponsor this time is Bunny Zoes Crafts.

My DT Card

I have used a Saturated Canary image coloured with Copics for my card called Fancy. Dont you thing that she looks every inch the Fairy Tale princess?
The papers are Prima Fairy Belle. I cut the circular card base and chandelier on my Cricut. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley  and the brass key is from Creative Expressions. All of the other bits and bobs are from my stash

SFTW DT Something Girlie

Good morning it's time for another challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend. Our theme this time is Something Girlie so plenty of opportunity to use lots of pretty embellishments. Our kind sponsor this time is Live and Love Craft.

I have used this gorgeous image by Mo Manning called Bye Bye Girl and coloured her with Copic's. The red polka dot paper is My Minds Eye and the black polka dot is DCWV. Well you have to use polka dots for a lady but don't your?
The frame has been punched using a Matha Stewart punch around the page set called Cherish. I managed to get this set on sale for £19.99. The small flower I make using the Tim Holtz Tattered florals die. The ribbon and lace I found at the bottom of my trimmings draw (who know what else could be lurking in there! I really must try and organise it one of these days.)
To finish it all off I attached the cute metal lady bug (I have no idea where this came from but iseem to have several of these and some butterflys in my collection)

Some exciting news!

Good morning everyone. I have some really exciting news that I have been bursting to tell you for the last few weeks but have had to hold on until now. The lovely ladies and gentlemen over at Sketch N Stash have kindly asked me to join their team and I simply had to say yes. I would like to say a big thank you to my new teamies for having me.

Enough gushing and onto the challenge.

Sketch N Stash Challenge
Challenge 105 with and optional Vintage theme. This challenge is being sponsored by Live & Love Craft who are offering the lucky winner a £10 gift voucher.

For my card I have chosen to flip the sketch and use Prima papers from the Almanac collection. I distressed the edges and then used a little picket fence crackle paint for an ages effect. I cut the frame using my trusty Cricut set at 5.25 inches. the cartridge used was sentimentals. The pretty butterfly and the tape I simple cut out of some scraps of paper I had left after making the base card. You cant quite see from the photograph but my wooden sentiment at the top says delightful and this too is from Prima. The lace is from my ever growing stash and the flower is Kaiser crafts. The image in the frame is a stamp by Stampers Anonymous from the Tim Holtz collection.

I do hope that you like it.

SFTW DT Card

Good morning every one and a very happy new year to you all.
Its time for our first challenge of 2013 over at SFTW and the theme is Anything goes. Our lovely sponsor for this challenge is The Stamp Fairy Shop, who are offering a $10 gift certificate for our winner.

The papers used this time are GCD Studios Ella Blue. The cute image was kindly donated by The Stamp Fairy and is called Mimi Teddy 2 ....i'snt she cute? I have coloured her with colics in my new favourite color combination. The rosette was my first attempt at one of these and I must say that it tried to get away from me a few times. I ended up having to have help holding it down while the glue dried!
The ribbons and sentiment are from my stash and the shaped card is a blank from Craftwork Cards

Any way thanks for stopping by and it would be great if you could pay a visit to my talented teamies over at SFTW
